This is a guide to show you how to locate, export, or delete your wallet and address book files. (For Mac see below)

Windows

1)
Open file explorer and navigate to Computer\C:\Users\%Your-Username%\nem\ncc.

2)
There are two important files:

  1. The wallet file, which is called "kod.wlt" in this example (blue arrow in the image below)
  2. The address book file, which is called "kod.adb" in this example (red arrow in the image below).

The file extensions ".wlt" and ".adb" denote what the file is. ".wlt" is the wallet file, and ".adb" is the address book file that stores all your contacts in your address book in your client. Both files are encrypted with your wallet password.

3)
When you want to backup/export your wallet, most likely you will want to keep all your saved addresses also, if so, right click and "copy" the two files and "paste" them to where ever you wish to back them up, for instance on a USB drive. If you don't want to leave the wallet files where they were, just use "cut" instead of "copy". If you just want to delete them, just click "delete" instead after right clicking on the files. Just be sure to empty the recycling bin after.
